Making the speaker up to date with new and modern technology is important to fill the users needs, make the product stand out and make the product the best it can be. The speaker that i have made lacks in technology due to it either not working or being expensive. I believe that it is imperitive that these technologies are introduced to the product to make it the best it can be. The most obvious technology that the speaker is missing is Bluetooth. This is the most important as it is what all the other speakers are offering except mine. I tried to make the speaker bluetooth but for some unknown reason it wouldnt work so i had to scrap the idea. Including this would make it easier for the user to use as it would allow them to keep there device on them and not use wires. Another good thing about bluetooth is the fact that it is cheap compared to what it used to be so the overall price wouldnt be affected. 

Making tye speker battery powered is also another technology that needs to be considered and introduced to the speaker. Now batteries are getting smaller and smaller and their weight is being reduced they can easily be put into the speaker without effecting the overall weight and hindering the way the speaker is carried. The main problem with batterys at the moment is that they are getting smaller but there life span isnt improving very well. This could be a problem as the speaker will require a large battery as it uses lots of power and possibly not last long enough to what the user will require.

Doing a bit of research on new technoogies for seakers there isnt a great deal that can benefit my speaker and its particular style infact the new technologies are non existentfor a speaker of my size and function.
