This is probably the best portable speaker on the market at the moment due to its superb sound quality at materials used to make it. This is very expensive for a speaker as it starts in the £200 margin. It is made out of light weight Aluminium and also houses a leather flip to protect the speaker grill. Unlike all the other speakers here this is the only one that is Bluetooth compatible
This is a slightly high priced speaker than the one below, this is due to it being slightly bigger and that it is made out of metal and plastic. This is slightly more modern than the one below but it still isn't the best looking product available on the market. It is more modern than the one below as it uses different materials and colours but the use of pure organic shapes means it isn't modern at all.
This is one of the lowest priced speakers available to the market and yet provides top quality sound. Its design is not very modern at all and is on the edge of not being modern at all. It is made out of cheap plastic and weighs nothing, that’s why it is so good as a portable speaker.
This is where I want the product that I design to sit compared to other portable speakers. I have put it at the modern end of the grid as KEF do design very modern products and I want to stick with this so it matches KEF’s brand. I have then placed it at the top of the High Price end as all of KEF’s products are priced very high compared to other Brands. I have placed it next to a BOSE portable speaker as Bose provide great sound quality however I have moved down to the right by a little as I want it to look more modernism than Bose currently are. I have also placed it here as the higher priced speakers are slightly bigger than the less priced speakers but are also more modern.
This speaker is modern but small at the same time and has a low cost of £30. compared to the other speakers it is the best designed for the modernism look but also not to expensive.

This is also made by BOSE and is a alternative to the one above, unlike the one above this isn't Bluetooth but houses a dock for any apple device. This has slightly more organic shape to it as it has a slight curve over the front.
